Washington's Wake

I would really love to attend this. I might. I don’t know. Maybe make up some signs. Stand there angrily. get teargassed by over-zealous Boston cops.

On one hand, I would say I think nothing is going to come of any of it. I don’t think conservatives tend to show up for rallys, protests and the like. That’s more of a liberal tactic (that works really well) – but I am moved. I am so incredibly ashamed to even live in this country, so angry that in 60 days it has been transformed into a fascist state, so hurt that this liar has destroyed so much, it feels like I should stand up and say so.

On the other hand, Is there anything left to fight for? You can not save someone who does not wish to be saved.
