Now, they ARE dying in other countries under the government run system Obama advocates. The examples are countless.
Wow! Even Ultra-Liberal Massachusetts is against the Obama led, Dem sponsored travesty. Is sanity beginning to return to America? The “plants” in the audience were utterly unconvincing and the outright lies being told by the Congress-critter were not accepted.
Question: If we the people don’t want this, why are they trying so hard to shove it down our throats? She’s a liar, just like Obama and his crooked administration.
Let’s see, we will give 45 million people new cars and free gasoline, then traffic congestion and pollution will go down, plus our total transportation costs and taxes will decrease because everyone can drive. Makes sense to me. Tell us the truth!

The last speaker says her Grandmother died under her current insurance plan because of a preexisting condition. So the system is not working. WTF does that mean!?
So she had insurance, and the Dr/s couldnt save her, and thats whose fault? Those mean private insurance companies who covered dear old grandma who already had terminal cancer?

This congresswoman is a liar and the liberals that are in denial about the debate are just disgusting people. To say this will strengthen the employee health care system is a just an outright lie.
I do believe that is one of the stupidest Congressmen I’ve never listened. She didn’t even answer the questions posed to her.
As far as the last speaker is concerned who says her grandmother died under the coverge by a pre-existsing condition.
You cannot have coverage and a pre-existing condition at the same time. By definition this woman is lying about the nature of the situtation.
This pre-existing condition thing needs to be spelled out. People don’t need insurance if they can wait till they are sick and then pay a small premium for thousands of dollars of medical care.
Insurance is shared risk and there is no risk in waiting till something bad happens and then saying I want to join the risk pool and pay my dues.
They really don’t know what’s in the bill. They just repeat what the WH wants them to. Disgusting!
I was there and you have to give her credit for holding the event – no other MA rep has been as courteous yet. And she did a remarkable job ignoring the questions and the outbursts. It was like attending a time-share property seminar, except no one got a coupon for a free lunch.
My favorite line was the “everyone will get insurance so everyone will get healthy and then everyone will get cheaper healthcare” convoluted something or other. I’m still trying to figure out what she was talking about.

I am sorry to hear that a family member of yours died from breast cancer. But she would have fared no better in England or Canada.
Ask yourself this simple question…what gives you faith and hope that you can turn your life over to a group of politicians who only see numbers and not faces? Obama said about a 100 year old woman who needed a pace maker that he would not have given it to her simply because she was spunky and had a zest for life. He said that should not be a qualifying factor. Under ObamaCare, when the funds start running short, (Just imagine cash for clunkers on a healthcare scale) your grandmother will be left to die simply because the system isn’t going to pay for your grandmothers chemo treatments. She is old, she will not be putting back into the system. It is that simple. There are doing it in England, they will do it here too.
Obamacare is in real trouble with the taxpayers and voters – and the DEMs know it. They are acting very immature in my opinion and apparently forget they work for those who put them in office.
Obamacare (HR 3200) needs to be killed outright. It is socialism, not health care.

I like how she went into detail about people’s employers making thier decision as to what company and types of plans. She should have been told that if the employee does not like them, they can still go out and look for one themselves.

Rep Tsongas seemed to say that the healthcare bill would allow people to opt out of employer coverage into an ‘exchange’ to get customized benefits. most often custom anything costs more than ‘off the rack.’ yet Obamacare claims it will reduce the cost. this claim deserves scrutiny it is not getting now.
I doubt her late husband, Paul, would have supported ObamaCare given its budget-breaking nature.

I was there on Saturday.
The Lowell Sun reported 1,000 people showed up.
The people shown at the beginning of the clip holding Nazi signs were the from the Lyndon Larouche Youth Organization.
There were roughly 10 of them, largely ignored or mildly heckled by the crowd, but the media chose to focus on them.
The Larouche people show up at every political event. They ARE NOT REPUBLICANS!
Doors to the event were closed at 9:30, 30 minutes before the event was scheduled to start.
The meeting was pre-packed with Acorn and SEIU members.
Outside, the crowd was peaceful.
There were no arrests and many people were engaged in real dialogue and sharing of information.
Patriots-please band together with friends and neighbors and make your voices heard.
Attend a Town Hall.
Write, call, fax your congressional representatives.

No one, not even who we elect President of our country is better than a single one of us American citizens.
If Obama and our reps who own this legislation will not be forced into as they would force each of us into it then it is for none of us.

We have the best healthcare in the world with already embedded safety nets for the poor and elderly, i.e. Medicaid and Medicare. Why the rush to change what we have? Let’s make sure we have money to pay for Medicare and Medicaid before we drive out competition in favor of government controlled healthcare…Only someone in the government, Obama, could say with a straight face that they are going to expand coverage and reduce costs…It is impossible and the people know it…We are tired of paying other people’s bills and getting higher taxes and less service in return.
