Someone, please explain to me why this isn’t terrifying?
So, I’m in the car driving to pick up son up and this ad comes on the radio. Tom Selleck is pushing the importance of being a good dad. So far, I’m with him. Hey, the world needs more guys to step up and be a good father, who isn’t for that?
THEN he gives the website for this initiative: http://www.fatherhood.gov/
The government is now putting out guidelines on what makes a good father? Do we really want parenting tips from the nannystate?
99.999% of people will see nothing wrong with this. But anyone that thinks this through and remembers back to Nazi Germany – communist China – communist Cuba. Countries that layout parenting guidelines and expectations are evil. It is a bad thing. Not just a bad thing, a dangerous bad thing.
Government has no place in this and it has been this long slow slippery slope that has led to the nannystate we are currently in servitude to.
Wonder of Wonders
Apparently the United (Socialist) States of America elected some new puppet to lead them, and the electors of the puppet think his strings are shiny and everything is wonderful now that it’s their little puppet and their little show. How shocking?
