It seems freedom from governmental tyranny is for everyone as the Billings Gazette reports.

Calling for new tribal leadership and a break from the federal government, founders of the first Crow Indian Tea Party movement rallied Monday in Hardin.

But wait, I thought the Tea Parties were nothing but a bunch of right wing racists that hate and despise minorities in this country?

Other Tea Party members from across the state joined the Crow Nation Tea Party in demonstrating at Hardin’s only downtown stoplight. The groups gathered at every corner of the intersection with placards denouncing health care reform, climate change legislation and excessive federal government.

They elicited honks from passersby during the noon rally.

“We just wanted to be supportive of these people,” said Ken Champion of Bozeman. “Anybody who stands for freedom and liberty and opposed to unrestricted government spending, we want to support.”

Got that right. We need more people like that.

President Barack Obama’s nominee for the top international post at the Treasury Department has been sidetracked by a Senate committee’s investigation into her personal tax returns.

Lael Brainard, nominated in March as Undersecretary for International Affairs, is the latest Obama appointee to be tripped up by the Senate Finance Committee. Of particular concern is Ms. Brainard’s use of a home-office tax deduction, according to people familiar with the inquiry.

Doesn’t any of these rich liberals use tax lawyers or accountants?

But what really makes this interesting is that her husband is also in the administration. Guess nepotism isn’t a problem for HRH The Sun King.

The delay in Ms. Brainard’s nomination is especially noteable because her husband, Kurt Campbell, was confirmed by the Senate on June 25 as Assistant Secretary for East Asian Affairs. If the couple filed a joint return, any errors would be his, too.

Of course they don’t mind charging people taxes, these thieves never pay them. For shame.
