About The European Useful Idiots

I guess they shouldn’t feel too bad after all. HRH The Sun King just played the Asians for suckas too.

Bowing to political pressure at home, President Barack Obama on Thursday scrapped his trip to Indonesia and Australia next week to stay in Washington for a final push for a healthcare overhaul.

So really, the Europeans shouldn’t get the knickers in a twist. It seems HRH The Sun King will shove anyone aside as long as it benefits The Sun King.

Because Dying Isn’t Enough Of A Commitment?

I’m reading about Hillary Clinton bashing Isreal. And the whole stupidity of the state department and the liberals just utterly pisses me off. It makes me wonder whether anyone in charge of “foreign policy” really has a clue about things.

At the same time, however, she noted that Washington was “engaged in a very active consultation with the Israelis over steps that we think would demonstrate the requisite commitment to this [peace] process”.

Because having every country on your border openly declare they want your country out of existence is nothing? Because the Israeli’s have to always give up something to the Arabs? So the Israelis have promised all sorts of things in the past, giving up land, allowing Arabs to come into their country and all sorts of other things.

And what have the Arabs shown as their commitment to peace? I mean other than nothing. No really. I dare you to find me anything concrete that the Arabs have done that shows their commitment to anything other than the destruction of Israel. Hell, Hamas, ruler of the Gaza Strip still has their charter literally calling for the destruction of Israel.

And how do the Isrealis have peace with a government that is on your border and explicitly calls for their destruction. Seriously. Why is it the Israelis have to show a commitment, but the Arabs do not. All they have to do is say no and the international community has a collective orgasm at their strength.

Until the Arabs in the region are willing to have peace, there will be no peace.

And on a related note…

General David Petraeus, the chief of the US Central Command (Centcom), told members of the Senate Armed Services Committee. “The conflict foments anti-American sentiment due to a perception of US favoritism for Israel,” he added.

I realize that I’m probably not as smart as the general. I also don’t have to report to the morons in congress. But the reason we favor Israel is that they’re a democracy. They don’t want to kill us. They allow their women to vote and not be hidden behind the burqa. Israel doesn’t mind gays and won’t stone them to death. And the Arabs have done exactly what towards the US?

I just don’t understand why the general has decided to get into politics with his report to the congresscritters. It is not seemly for the US Military to get into politics. That’s for the morons in congress. If he’s unable to see why we favor Isreal, then maybe he shouldn’t be allowed the command that he has. Regardless, he shouldn’t have said it and will only give those morons that believe in the jewish conspiracy more ammunition.

All I want to know, is there any adult in Washington that has a clue?

Pinch Me

Someone please tell me I’m dreaming, and this nightmare will end soon.

More apologies and cringing from our ‘fearless leader’…

“America is a critical actor and leader on the world stage,” President Obama said at the conclusion of the G-20 summit in London, asked how he differs with President Bush on international relations. “We shouldn’t be embarrassed about that,” he said, but he added “we exercise our leadership best when we are listening; when we recognize that the world is a complicated place and that we are going to have to act in partnership with other countries; when we lead by example; when we show some element of humility and recognize that we may not always have the best answer, but we can always encourage the best answer and support the best answer.”

Embarrassed? Why should we be embarrassed about anything, except maybe the recent behavior of our current POTUS, bowing and scraping, and ‘stepping on toes’ wherever he goes. Then pretending he’s fixing things…

“I would like to think that with my election and the early decisions that we’ve made, that you’re starting to see some restoration of America’s standing in the world.”

Wake me when this is over…

Because It’s All Our Fault

Crimeny Jeebus! So, Mexico allows their drug gang problem to get out of control, and now they are demanding money from the U.S. Because, get this, it’s our fault!

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said during a visit to Mexico this week that “insatiable demand” in the United States for illegal drugs was in part to blame for much of Mexico’s violence.

This money could be put to better use here at home. At the very least, use the money to strengthen our borders to keep the drugs out of the U.S. and let Mexico deal with their own problems.

I’m sick of the self-loathing, and the obsession with ‘world opinion’. It is one of the forms of ‘cancer’ that is slowly destroying my country. Once we were a strong nation, capable of helping others. At one time it was possible to help another nation out of a jam, and we were happy to do it. But soon we’ll be the one in need of the handouts, if we don’t change the direction we are heading.

Maybe the impression is growing because it’s a fact?

“At the same time, there is a growing impression across Europe that the Obama administration is inept and inefficient and increasingly poorly managed.”

I’m not saying, I’m just sayin’ – sometimes, if it quacks like a duck, and swims like a duck and has feathers like a duck… it’s actually a duck.
