Hate Groups, What Hate Groups?
So ABC, they of the legacy media, have decided to hype the “hate” groups that, you know, hate HRH The Sun King. They have a shiny story that even says so.
And in New Hampshire, another man stood across the street from a Presidential town hall with his gun on full display.
Quick, queue scary music.
Ya know, you guys from Manhattan and DC might want to get out of the air conditioned offices. We here in the Granite State, you know the Live Free or Die state have this thing called open carry. Amazingly enough, in some states it is absolutely and perfectly legal, and I hear we even have this thing called the 2nd Amendment, though it’s not taught in those liberal bastions, that allows us here in the NEW HAMPSHIRE to openly carry a hand gun.
I know, who would have thought that a “major” legacy news agency wouldn’t bother to, you know, check their facts.
Sigh…
Meanwhile let’s go over some real hate groups.
An African-American man from Mississippi admits posing as a white supremacist to send a death threat across state lines by Facebook.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 20-year-old Dyron L. Hart of Poplarville pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to making a threat in November 2008.
Hart admitted creating a name and using a white supremacists’ photo to pose as a white man who planned to kill blacks because Barack Obama had been elected president.
Er, ok, maybe not that real hate group.
How about people being physically threatened while they exercise their fundamental right to participate in their republican country?
The charges stemmed from an incident at a Philadelphia polling place on Election Day 2008 when three members of the party were accused of trying to threaten voters and block poll and campaign workers by the threat of force — one even brandishing what prosecutors call a deadly weapon.
And in case you think this was a VRWC type of situation, we have this quote.
A poll watcher who provided an affidavit to prosecutors in the case noted that Bartle Bull, who worked as a civil rights lawyer in the south in the 1960′s and is a former campaign manager for Robert Kennedy, said it was the most blatant form of voter intimidation he had ever seen.
In his affidavit, obtained by FOX News, Bull wrote “I watched the two uniformed men confront voters and attempt to intimidate voters. They were positioned in a location that forced every voter to pass in close proximity to them. The weapon was openly displayed and brandished in plain sight of voters.”
He also said they tried to “interfere with the work of other poll observers … whom the uniformed men apparently believed did not share their preferences politically,” noting that one of the panthers turned toward the white poll observers and said “you are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker.”
So all you crackers out there, don’t forget to bow down to HRH The Sun King while the legacy media cooks up scary stories that are nothing while ignoring real cases.
Of course that’s why no one is reading their newspapers or watching their tv shows. But hey, it’s a good thing they have all those layers of fact checkers and editors. Makes it easier to layoff people when you can prove quite easily that they’re incompetent beyond belief. Because you know, why let facts get in the way of a good story.
Even The Chinese Don’t Believe Tax Cheat Timmy
Even the Chinese think Tax Cheat Timmy is lying to them. And really, do you blame them?
“Chinese financial assets are very safe,” Geithner said. His response drew laughter from the audience.
I guess even the Chinese aren’t really buying the lies of Tax Cheat Timmy or HRH The Sun King. If w’re all lucky, the Chinese continue to buy bonds or we’ll see the American Weimar Republic sooner rather than later.
Fear Me, For I Am A Blogger
And we are the most powerful creatures on the earth, besides the joos, the freemasons and all the other nefarious creatures of the night. At least that’s what the head of the Director of National Intelligence sez.
On the Charles – on the Chas Freeman appointment, I am happy to say that looking around this room, there was pretty responsible reporting on Chas, but apparently you guys aren’t bloggers, as – (laughter) – or you guys aren’t as powerful bloggers as some that I discovered when I made the announcement. I thought he was a good pick, I still think he’s a – still think he would have made a great National Intelligence Council Chairman, but it wasn’t to be, and so we’re – lesson learned, moving on.
Ah yes. The “moving on” quote. Instead of going on about what a dumbass pick Chas Freeman was. Let us go over the big quote that for me shows he was incompetent and shouldn’t be considered a representative of my government.
I cannot conceive of any American government behaving with the ill-conceived restraint that the Zhao Ziyang administration did in China, allowing students to occupy zones that are the equivalent of the Washington National Mall and Times Square, combined. while shutting down much of the Chinese government’s normal operations. I thus share the hope of the majority in China that no Chinese government will repeat the mistakes of Zhao Ziyang’s dilatory tactics of appeasement in dealing with domestic protesters in China.
Yes you have that correct. A “diplomat” thinks that it was more than ok for the Chinese to rolls the tanks in and crush the democracy movement in Tiannemen Square. Actually he’s saying that the tanks should have rolled in sooner and crushed them even quicker. And this guy is a representative of the United States of America? He’s the public face of the US and he’s of the opinion that it is more than ok for governments to crush any peaceful dissent. Wow. And he actually got nominated to be in the intelligence apparatus?
Boy are we screwed that these sorts of people are in charge of the government.
And yet, the guy at the DNI, thinks it was bloggers that made the guy pull his nomination. Never mind his Chas Freeman’s odious screed for bloodthirsty governments to do their thing against peaceful protesters. Never mind Chas Freeman’s obviously antisemitic rants against jews. No. It was bloggers. Holy crap do these people just not have a clue.
Lady Liberty wears a chicken suit
“No,” Gates answered, adding, “I would say we’re not prepared to do anything about it.”
I guess this answers my question. It’s not that I’m surprised in the least, or maybe I am, but I know I shouldn’t be. Obama Administration has been nothing but consistent on matters of making us look like fools. Somehow, I thought the actual threat to our existence might motivate him to stand up and kick some ass. But now that I think about it, that is not an option for this Obamanation.
And frankly, I’m not sure anything he could do would be better than doing nothing. As I wrote earlier, this whole thing is a powder keg. But I would have suggested at leasing holding cards close to vest. At least pretend like we might do something. Now we’ve ensured the test will go on. We have played chicken and lost.
I’m fairly confident that without our backing neither Japan nor South Korea will do much of anything. Which means, the missile goes up, the missile comes down, and NKorea knows for certain how far thier missile can go. And we learn just how close they are to being able to hit the west coast.
Kim Jong-Il wins the praise and accollades of the rest of the League of Evil Nations, Russia & China gain even more confidence that they, and not America are the super-powers of the world. And Obamanation loses pretty much all negotiating power going forard.
It’s a win for everyone!
Let’s call the NKorean missile “Ferdinand”
I’ve been thinking about the reprecussions of the upcoming North Korean missile launch, and I keep getting that mindsplinter concerning Russia. Obviously China’s reaction is of great concern, and the fact that Japan is feeling very threatened – and who can argue that it wouldnt’ be a wonderful time for China to take Taiwan – because I suspect we’ll have a lot of other things on our mind at that moment.
But what about Russia? They just recently performed some very aggressive moves, first when Obama visited Canada last month , and since with it’s other flybys which have Canada getting rather upset.
Now, I realize this isn’t exactly shocking news either, but I noticed the new slightly more detailed announcement by Russia of the new Artic forces. Then there was Canda’s reaction.
It might seem unrelated, but what happens if that North Korean launch precipitates chaos? China and Russia would be foolish not to take advantage of the distraction. And they’re not foolish. We’re swamped right now what are we going to do if China deals with some of the pesky little pains in the butt that make nations like America scream “Human Rights Abuse?”
And then, once we’re doing it, whether it’s pouting, screaming, or rattling a saber – I can’t imagine Russia isn’t going to do something snotty and agressive. It’s not about being pessistic – the world looks more and more like an interwoven fuse on a giant powder keg of existential angst.
Maybe it’s not the Arctic that I should be thinking about, Cuba and Venezuala are certainly big issues right now too. That was March 14th, I believe – not exactly ancient news reports.
Archduke Ferdinand wasn’t exactly a household name when a single bullet precipitated a big giant mess. I’m wondering if this stupid missile isn’t the new Archduke.
Appearing on “FOX News Sunday,” Gates said North Korea “probably will” fire the missile, prompting host Chris Wallace to ask: “And there’s nothing we can do about it?”
